I will look into the Chatelaine charts and try them out, I have never done a repeating chart so it would be interesting to give it a try. If you make a counting error in the blackwork it doesn't matter because it just fits around the bird.
Chatelaine do some freebies which can be stitched with just DMC if you want to give them a try!Jo who can't think of a clever nicknamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02663450738390351663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4968947149273801542.post-46782569685202309412017-06-08T03:56:56.514-06:002017-06-08T03:56:56.514-06:00Lovely progress on Dryad and Dragon, those colors ...Lovely progress on Dryad and Dragon, those colors are breathtaking and the flowers look so delicate =) I think you did a fair amount of progress on that one =)

I adore the birds and berries collection, especially the blue ones. I never heard of Ajisai Designs before, but I will keep an eye out for when the website is live again.

I completely understand your point about the Chatelaine and Goldwork designs. I try to protect my stitching from getting dirty, but especially with the larger designs it just happens that some dust gets on to the fabric, so I like to wash my projects in the end. I have actually seen goldwork before, but I didn't know it was called like that :D I spent a good hour watching youtube videos on it and it surely looks like fun ;-)Lady Stitch-a-Lothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00143707589637358705noreply@blogger.com
