Backstitching and Reflections

Hey,

My was it a busy work week. I managed to do a bit of stitching but most of it was done Friday night and on the weekend. I did the backstitching on the kingfisher native symbol and am really happy with how it turned out. The eye is my favorite part I think since it has added so much emotion to the bird. For next week I am going to work on the reeds above the water and the sky on the left side of the piece.

I also worked on the Dryad through the week and finished off a few more colours on this page. I think I am on track to finish the first page at the end of the month.

I am going to try to finish up some more of the loose threads on the right hand side this weeks so the view will be less obstructed.

Hope everyone is having a good summer and is getting a lot of relaxing in.

  1. Awesome stitching! The Josephine Wall charts do get really intense confetti wise... Hopefully the busy work week will settle and you can enjoy more hours stitching this week! :D

  2. Wow, you've made awesome progress this week! Both projects look great. Good luck finishing the page on Dryad. It's always fun to watch the last of the gaps get filled in and reveal a stunning bit of picture. :)
